How it works
A clear look at what happens inside HomeDesk, written for clinic, pharmacy and lab owners rather than engineers.
Reception takes the call in First Entry. Returning patients auto-fill from the shared directory.
Each service becomes an order in the right department with a shared job number and a live timer.
Staff and drivers move the order through its stages. Every change is timestamped and attributed.
Payments are tagged by mode. Cash is totalled per person, then the day is approved and locked.
Order stages
Stages are configurable per client. These are the defaults.

Under the hood
Each business is a separate client with fully isolated data. Inside a client, every branch has its own staff, settings, cash and closing time. Patients are shared across branches.
Granular permissions for each role and each user, fully customised by you, are enforced in the database itself, not only hidden in the screen. If a person cannot see it, the data is never sent.
A scheduled job force-closes stale orders every night at the branch's closing time, so tomorrow starts clean and reports stay honest.
Stage changes, payments, handovers, unlocks and role edits are recorded with who and when. Deleted orders are soft-deleted and recoverable.
